About ALDI

ALDI is one of the largest grocery retailers in the world, operating more than 2,300 stores across the United States and backed by a network of regional distribution centers that keep every one of those stores stocked. ALDI built its reputation on a lean, no-frills operating model — a smaller assortment, efficient shelf-ready packaging, and a distribution network engineered to move product from dock to store shelf with minimal waste and minimal delay. That same lean philosophy shapes life inside our warehouses: smaller, more capable teams, real cross-training instead of narrow one-task roles, and wages built to attract and keep the best warehouse talent in the region.

What Our Team Says (Employee Reviews)

"I lead a group of selectors and loaders on my shift, checking pace against the plan and jumping in wherever the team needs an extra set of hands. ALDI promoted me into this role from selector, and the leadership pay increase along with the chance to build real supervisory experience made it an easy decision." - Current Warehouse Team Lead, Jeffersonville, IN.

Role Overview & Responsibilities

As an ALDI Warehouse Team Lead, you provide frontline leadership to a group of warehouse associates during a shift, monitoring productivity and stepping in to resolve issues in real time.

• Team Pace Monitoring: Track the assigned team's pick, load, or receiving rate against the shift's productivity target, identifying any associate falling behind and providing on-the-spot coaching or reassignment to keep the team on pace.
• Frontline Issue Resolution: Resolve day-to-day operational issues on the floor — equipment slowdowns, slot discrepancies, staffing gaps — escalating to the Shift Supervisor only when an issue exceeds the team lead's authority to resolve directly.
• New Associate Support: Provide hands-on coaching to new warehouse associates during their first weeks, reinforcing correct picking, loading, or safety procedures through direct, on-the-floor guidance.

Benefits & Perks

ALDI Warehouse Team Leads earn a leadership pay differential above standard warehouse wages, plus paid time off, a 401(k) with company match, and medical, dental, and vision benefits.
